So I am definitely just copying from a different game, but I think it looks like fun.
~ GENERAL CONCEPT ~
Basically, as a collective group, we rank the 396 Survivor castaways. One at a time in an established order someone will eliminate a remaining Survivor and do a writeup for them. So if I went first, I would pick my least favorite Survivor, put them at #396, and post a writeup for them. Then the next person will pick their least favorite and put them at #395 with a writeup, etcetc. This will continue on and on and we will get a huge ranking of the 396 Survivors!
~ STAGGERED ELIGIBILITY ~
Survivors will become eligible for elimination at a staggered rate. For the first ten eliminations, only Survivors that received 16th place or lower will be eligible. For the next ten, 15th placers will be eligible, and so on until after 150 eliminations, winners become eligible. This is to prevent bigger characters (both bad and good) from being eliminated early, as well as preventing retaliation wars from brewing quickly.
~ TOP FIFTEEN ~
When we get down to 15, all of the participants will rate all of the remaining Survivors on a scale from 1-10 and PM me with those ratings, along with some comments on each of them. I will compile everyone's ratings and the top group will be ranked in accordance with our collective grades, which I will reveal one at a time!
~ THE IMMUNITY IDOL ~
To add another element to the Rankdown, each participant will be given TWO Immunity Idols. They can use an Immunity Idol at any time after a Survivor they want to save was eliminated, and it will bring that castaway back into the ranking. Additionally, whoever eliminated them would NOT be able to eliminate them again. So if Joel was to eliminate Russell Hantz, and Charles wanted to save Russell, he would use his Immunity Idol to save Russell from elimination, and Joel would not be able to eliminate Russell again. Anyone else would still be able to eliminate Russell, though. IMPORTANT: in order to save a Survivor, you have until the next update to use your Immunity Idol on the last Survivor to be eliminated, OR a minumum of six hours if multiple updates occur quickly. And remember, they must be used wisely, as you only get TWO the entire Rankdown!
To use an Immunity Idol, simply post this picture:
Note: The same person cannot use both of their idols on the same Survivor. Multiple people, however, can use an idol on the same Survivor.
~ OTHER RULES AND STUFF ~
- All participants will be listed below, and they will go in a randomly determined order once signups are closed. That order will be posted below as well. DO NOT UPDATE OUT OF ORDER, kthx. If you do, your update will be revoked and your next turn will be skipped.
- You will have 24 hours after the previous update to post your update. If it is your turn and you don't update in 24 hours, your turn is skipped and we proceed to the next person in line (however, if you miss your 24-hour window, you can still take your turn if the next person hasn't posted). If you don't want to update, you can pass. If you ever miss TWO updates in a row, you are EJECTED from the Rankdown. If you ever miss THREE TOTAL, you are ejected. Active roster ftw.
