Did I say that I wasn't helped by idols? No. But I said both sides were...so stop twisting my words. -_- And you guys had quite a few idols too, but you played them the wrong way. So it is what it is. I'm not arguing who had more "help" with idols. But I don't think anyone should be complaining about them.

And yeah, I was rolling my eyes at Knox's opening statement. Anyone who says they haven't lied in this game is full of shit imo.

Dear Lord...
With 85 idols in play, there's no way the game is not impacted by them. And let's face it...there was no way out of the stalemate at final ten, both sides having an idol, without the use of an idol. If the other "side" had won out, we could make the same claim. So it's a moot point. There was strategy as well as luck regarding how the idols were played.
Ben, are you saying this "group" existed back as far as round 2? Because that's what it sounded like. I thought you were forced together because of Gloria's claims...

No I said those eliminations and moves wound up helping our group, when it did form. Something in the past can, in fact, affect something made in the future.

Right, but you weren't actively making moves at that point for said group. So you can't sit there and say "we as a group" were savvier and didn't have idols to rely on. It's a non-sequitur.

We didn't make the moves as a group but we made moves as individuals, which wound up helping the group that formed in the future.

On a separate topic, AJ is going to have to explain how she thought she laid low at any point in this game. I snickered at that.

As the only player in the final 8 to not hold an idol or have one played on me, the idols helped on both sides. They also helped drive the game apart, making it pretty impossible for anyone to play strategically or even really fucking talk to the other side, which sucked. "My side" got luckier to have them work out in our favor and it's the reason we made Top 5, but don't act like the "other side" didn't have a bunch as well.
EDIT: Building off that point, the high number of idols and divided camps this game make it kinda hard imo for anyone to really argue they did much of anything. You needed luck more than anything to get to the end this season. While Knox went to a bunch of TCs, AJ and Thiago basically got free rides to the merge (I did too). Once there, it was all a luck game and just sticking to an alliance you couldn't leave if you wanted any chance facing a jury. So really the only thing this F3 did better than me/Cassie was be less attractive to the jury, and they were just luckier than the rest of you. How do you judge that?
