Chase is a moron. A very nice guy, but a really terrible survivor. That's all for now.

Why is this round of my confessional called The Pruning? When you prune a plant, the result is that it grows back in fuller and nicer. Chase left last round -- mostly due to his own fault -- but I really don't think that's a bad thing. I think that Chase leaving makes me more valuable, and this alliance of AJ's really needs me now more than ever. Do I think I'm going to stick with once alliance until the end? I'm not quite sure about that lately, but trimming down the number of allies may not always be a bad thing if you can retain the numbers.

How I felt while I was doing this challenge

I'm playing catch-up in the confessional today. There was just too much game going on yesterday to talk about all of this! Expect multiple posts. AJ came up with the plan for the immunity challenge that everyone in our tribe's alliance would end on a different number, preventing Ben/Ellen from both winning immunity. I didn't exactly go as planned, but it was somewhat close to what we intended. Luckily, I won one of the immunities!!! Thank goodness I'm immune for what I'm sure will be a clusterfuck of a judgement. Plus, I'm in the F12 and I STILL haven't been vulnerable this game... although this time I will have to cast a vote. The vote was going to be split between Ellen and Ben, but Ben now has immunity, making this vote much more complicated.

I think there are advantages and disadvantages to winning a lot of tribal immunities. Obviously, I've been safe for all of the game which is great. However, I haven't had the chance to vote anyone out. Alliances have been formed, and my concern is that I may be entering into the fray a little too late. Timing is everything in Survivor, I'm not sure what options I'll have going forward if I don't get this vote right.

PM From Wendy:
Hey Guys! Rumors have it: Ellen has the immunity idol and she is playing it. I don’t know if it is true or not, but rumors always have some truth to it. Right? After speaking to majority of tribe, I think we are blindsiding Knox. I told him, a semi-lie that Thiago is voting out Ellen and he is willing to do the same - just like, AJ. Here is the plan: Thiago, Mark and Henry - you guys are voting out Knox. Knox, AJ and I will be voting out Ellen. Ellen and Ben are voting someone out and we do not know whom they are targeting. In the end, the votes should be 3-3-2 or 3-2-0*. If Ellen does not use her idol, then she is done. Afterwards, we have to deal with the aftermath of Knox. If Ellen uses her idol, then Knox is done; and we have to worry about Ellen and her gang. I will be emailing this letter to Mark, Thiago and Henry. We made it to the final 12 guys. Hoorah!!!
--------------------------
My Response:
« Message sent Today at 12:32pm » I heard we were making the vote 4-2, 4 on Ellen and 2 on Knox. Since Ellen and Ben only make up 2 votes, we only need to put 2 on Knox to ensure Ben and Ellen don't get to pick who goes home. I was under the understanding you are an Ellen vote and I'm a Knox vote.
Let me know if something changed.

I will be making a full post of what I'm doing a little closer to the deadline, just so nothing gets messed up. I'm spending a little more political capital than I want to in the Final 14, but I guess this is All Stars so I should have expected that I would need to play hard, even with immunity.

To comment about the other tribe, I heard from Thaigo that Michael has been telling Ellen everything (Chase's idol, the number strategy, etc.). I gotta expect that's gonna blow up in his face though because Cassie's gonna play the idol and he's the clear 2nd choice on that tribe.
Snitches get stitches.
