05: Even Winners are Sinners

So this round is definitely setting up to be the biggest of the game. I know I haven't really been around to post much, but it's because so much strategy has gone into this round that it's ridiculous. Everything's been so back and forth and indecisive that it's borderline-insane. We decide we want to win the challenge, and then we wanna throw it, then we wanna win, and then we wanna throw. It's just so important that we take very delicate steps and every move is planned out so precisely. Because if not, then we're in for a bad time in this game.

Basically we only have one shot. After last round's failed attempt to oust the idol, it's more important than ever that it's flushed this round. Because of this, we are going balls to the walls in what is probably the riskiest move in GvsE history. Chase has the idol. It's a common fact and most people want it to go bye bye as soon as possible. There's a lot of trickery that could go into this vote, but all of it is just a bullshit scheme to go straight for a blindside. To be honest, we don't think he'll see it coming. The obvious vote for the round is Michael because he's never around, but Chase/Cassie also want Luca out. So once again, Selena/Colleen/I promise to vote for Luca. If they honestly believe us after what we did to them last week with the Quincy vote, then they deserve to be fucked by this move. The only risky part of this is that Chase is a paranoid freak at times and could damn well play the idol just because. This is nerve-wracking, yes, but at least it's Luca's ass on the line and not mine.

The outcome I'm hoping for is that Chase + idol leaves the game, but Luca leaving the idol being ousted wouldn't be super horrible. Sure I'm in a hard spot and my alliance with Chase is pretty much torn to shreds, but we'll still be there to fight another day and I think we can put up a good placement at the end of the day. Next round is endurance so you best believe I'll kick some major ass in that.

...if I get blindsided tonight, this confessional is going to be really embarrassing.

Post-game to Chase: I'm so sorry about this move, but I honestly cannot stand the way you're playing this game. It's very devious and malicious and no matter what I do, I won't ever be on your side in this game. Regardless, I shouldn't even have to prove myself to you or AJ so the fact that you keep telling me ways that I can is nothing short of ridiculous. You're a great guy and I hope you're not too hurt by this. That idol that I gave you definitely did you in... and I want it back. Now.

I would also like to point out that half of the people in this game are borderline insane. I know I'm probably included in the group of people that should be thrown in a psych ward, but I pale in comparison to some of these people. I mean, I'm a good liar. I've always known that. But the way some people like AJ, Chase, and Mark can just flat out lie to my face warrants them to be studied in a lab. I think Mark is more genuine than most, but he definitely knows how to play this game and will probably be against me hardcore if this vote works the way I want it to. On the other side of things, I absolutely love my alliance. Ellen, Luca, and Selena are probably the best people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I know people assume we're just together because of some silly pre-game relationships, but we honestly didn't intend that. But when we enter a game and are already assumed to be aligned and being targeted by a larger friend circle, then of course we're going to fucking team up. It's common sense. No matter what we do, we aren't ever going to convince these people that we're not together so the next best option is to just be better than them.
