This game does the craziest things to people. Sane one second, and a total flip the next. To say that this week has been a roller coaster is an understatement. It all began with a tribe swap, but it's going to end with what is set to become one of the ballsiest moves in the history of the series. An all-star game with the possibility of going to rocks? This is borderline psychotic to be completely honest but it's one of the only things we can do right now!
So let's take a look at the new tribes:
To be honest, I kind of wish I was on this tribe but I'm glad I'm not at the same time. Ellen is my number one ally in this game and she's a member of this tribe, so that would be good to have around and all. But the problem is that everyone is after Ellen's throat in the game. I don't necessarily understand the hatred but it stems from AJ and Chase. Are they honestly that bitter over her playing well in Season 3 that they're willing to bring it on full-force in this all-star game? Yeah, definitely thankful to be able to avoid the Ellen vs AJ fireworks. I don't even know how the focus of the season got to them because I'm the star, after all. To me this whole little dispute is just a petty mess and shouldn't be the focus of strategy in the season. Blech. As for the remainder of the tribe, I have a few key allies over there. Mainly Mark and Ben. We had a pretty good thing going for us at old-Proelia and we all knew the swap would mess that up. I don't think they're necessarily on the outs over there and I'm by no means on the outs over here. I just would prefer to play the game with them. That's all. Wendy is such a wild card that I don't even know what to do with her. Everything she does is just laughable and I honestly don't even know why she's here. Henry is awesome but so far up AJ's ass about everything. Definitely gotta watch out for him because I don't see us being compatible in the game. Thiago is Thiago. A mind-warping snake and I don't trust him at all.
What is it about Proelia that attracts the crazies? It baffles me that every single tribe I've been on in this game has beyond-fucked dynamics. The only redeeming factor for nuProelia is the fact that I now have options. Didn't really expect to have to choose a path so early, but it's happening and probably soon. I'm currently kind of the middle-man between the two sides and I was wanting to keep it that way. AJ and Chase trust me and tell me pretty much everything. I believe they're both kinda fake and malicious with their actions and words though, leading me to transfer all of that information to my other alliance of Ellen and Luca. Luca and I definitely have to be ~tight~ on this tribe (even though I've entertained the option of just sending him out the door). Michael and I made a little alliance last round, so hopefully he honors that for a little while. I'll try to I guess, but if push comes to shove and I need to vote him out, I won't lose any sleep over it. Cassie is difficult for me because of the history we have, but I feel like the bond is okay at this point. We both have a mutual frustration over being basically handcuffed to AJ/Ellen respectively (even though we're both lying I think) and we aligned over it actually. Kind of an alliance. Moreso a deal. Quincy can go suck a dick at this point because he took all the information we gave him and ran with it. I thought he'd be salvagable and a nice guy, but he lost me whenever Chase revealed that he was just being a mole. Your loss, dude. Selena is my baby and I'm never letting her go. I trust her 100% in all aspects of this game.
Overall I've done some thinking and I think strategically it makes more sense to make a move against Chase at this point. Sure we talk and he shares information with me, demonstrating obvious trust on his part. The problem with this is that he basically just wants my help to eliminate the people he isn't close with in order to stack the merge tribe in his favor so he can glide to the end of the game. Sorry, but I'm not about to do that. To avoid just handing the game over to Chase and AJ, Ellen, Luca, and I have come up with a pretty good plan.
So we've already completed step one, which was to throw the challenge. It's honestly super lolzy how obvious it is but oh well. If anything it just raises the paranoia that will end up working out in our favor. What we're hoping for this round is a tie. Chase/Cassie/Michael/Quincy will probably vote for either Luca or Selena. To counteract this, Dominic/Luca/Selena/Colleen will vote for Quincy. Quincy is basically a rat and we think that there's no way in hell Chase would use an idol on him. (btw if this fails then Luca goes so what the fuck ever lol). As an added bonus we're going to try and get Chase all paranoid to the point he wastes his idol, but that would just be the cherry on top. We're not really holding our breath on that working out. At this point, we're going to go to a revote: Luca vs Quincy most likely. Colleen, Selena, and I will stand steady not changing our votes and we can hopefully provoke Cassie or Chase into flipping. After all, who the fuck wants to be purple rock'd out of All Stars? I feel like Cassie will care too much about her game and want to do so well that there's no way that she will leave her game up to random.org. The hopeful result is Quincy leaving this game.
This could turn out horribly, I know. It's definitely risky but hey, high-stakes for high-rollers. This is all stars and no one got ahead by just sitting on their ass. If this doesn't work, then we're honestly no better off than we were. Well actually, that's true for Luca and them but I believe I was golden for now... Later down the road I would have been screwed though so I think this risk will definitely pay off.
Time to go mind-fuck and blindside the nerd herd.
