Week 1
"The dynamics of the tribe are...odd to be quite frank." -Hannah

Man, this tribe was a huge clusterfuck this round. They could not get it together at all at the immunity challenge. The importance of winning immunity seems to be lost on them, which makes sense because this IS an All-Star game. Ellen/Luca/Selena formed an alliance early on and Hannah kind of joined in in order to keep herself safe. Emily was Ellen's target, which wasn't really the best idea (and everyone agreed) but Ellen is very paranoid about a big alliance outside of her tribe. Knox didn't like the idea, and tried to form a counter-initiative against Perry but it didn't seem to work. Perry himself attempted to form his own initiative to break up Ellen & Luca- but that didn't seem to work either. Ellen ended up getting her way, but it's unsure how long that'll last. She's got a lot of ties and the game would really loosen up if she were to go early.

Ellen
Round One

Allies (Eduro): Luca, Selena
Friends (Eduro): Hannah, Knox
Allies (External): Ben, Colleen, Thiago
Enemies (Overall): AJ

Introspective Points
-Reflects on her season.
-Realizes she has the hugest target coming in.
-Wants to play UTR, realizes she can't.
-Michael tries to "save" Emily. Makes her want to target Emily.
-Perry freaks out and tries to flip the vote- she doesn't like that.
-Knox wants to save Emily even though she pushed his name out of the hat (which isn't really true).

Second-Person View
-Once again, Ellen is running things on her tribe and everyone knows it. She has a lot of love and a lot of hate.

His Story Summarized & My Perspective: Retaining her legacy. It's going to be painful to watch. She has a bunch of friends in this game, and she thinks that everyone is out to get her- but those people's days are numbered. The last thing I want to see is Season 3 all over again- and she hasn't changed anything since the last time. This "huge group" thing has seemed to be created in her head. She's not going to win

Emily
Round One

Allies (Eduro):

Allies (External): Annie, Michael

Unfortunately, Emily is leaving the first round and it's incredibly sad to watch. She really couldn't get her times to align with everyone, but it's a true testament to her gameplay that she was able to get so many people campaigning for her to stay when she didn't pre-game really. She was kind of ruthlessly eliminated, but she was a huge threat.

Hannah
Round One

Allies (Eduro):
Friends (Eduro): Perry, Knox, Selena
Allies (External): Michael, AJ, Cassie

Introspective Points
-Wants to lay low and be a sheep for the time being. Correctly puts herself into the middle of her tribe.
-Made a VERY ironic comparison to David & Goliath.
-Is here to play hard, isn't going to act like it.
-Doesn't realize how much of a threat Ellen/Luca are

Second-Person View
-Not a lot really comment on Hannah, except essentially that they know she's a snake in the grass but isn't going to go anywhere anytime soon.

My Perspective & Her Story Summarized: She's created this story of "the devil's awakening" for herself which I find to be fascinating. Of all of the All-Stars, Hannah is one of the best at painting a portrait of herself. Love the Good & Evil allusions.

Knox
Round One

Allies (Eduro):
Friends (Eduro): Everyone-ish?
Allies (External): Knox, Gloria

Introspective Points
-Wants to save Emily and tries kind of to pull a bunch of shit to make it happen. Tries to push things onto Perry. He really doesn't like Perry.
-Wants to be a free agent in this game.
-Says he's the man of the hour.
-Wants to be flexible and less stubborn- eventually goes with Ellen after being given a "talking to" by Gloria (which was gross).

Second-Person View
-Ellen, Luca, and Selena are all pretty fed up with Knox but need him right now.
-Hannah likes him, no one else really comments.

My Perspective & His Story
Knox is kind of delusional with the gameplay that he's playing. He hasn't gotten really in a good position- but the same thing from last season (him making poor decisions and staying because someone else has made a worse one) will probably happen again. I'd like to see him find his footing. We'll have to see.

Luca
Round One

Allies (Eduro): Ellen, Selena
Friends (Eduro): Hannah?=
Allies (External): Gloria, Dominic, Quincy

Introspective Points
-Amping up the social game, but being careful with it.
-Is shocked by the illogic around him and how intense the first vote is.
-Doesn't like the "One World" aspect.
-Ellen will be his deflecting shield- realizes how poorly she played the round.

Second-Person View
-Luca is well-liked, and not really on many people's radars.

My Perspective & His Story
-Luca has the chance to be the first under the radar winner. Of the 3 AS games he's in right now, he's probably giving this one the least amount of effort due to the target on his back and the fact it started last. He is just about the only person who can say "I'm going to be UTR" and do it- and he'll prove just how valuable that is.

Perry
Round One

Introspective Points
-Doesn't want to start out invisible.
-Claims his social game is better.
-Plans on making a move sooner than later.
-Confides too strongly in Knox/Selena
-Sees the others around him as being idiots for just "going" with the flow.

Second-Person View
-Overwhelmingly negative reaction by his team for how hard the pushed for the vote to not just go 'according to plan'.

My Perspective & His Story: Perry represents the antithesis of the typical "I'm going to be UTR and go with the flow" All-Star strategy- and he's going to represent how defunct that strategy is a long time after he's gone, which I expect to be very, very soon. A lot of people are going to get screwed because they didn't make a move early enough- and his face is going to come to mind when Knox and Hannah find themselves voted out.

Selena
Round One

Introspective Points
-Is really happy to be back "I am for sure going to win this season".
-Says she won't trust anyone.
-Keep her mouth shut (she seems to have learned)
-Wants to be ruthless

Second-Person View
-Selena is probably the most trusted person on her current Eduro tribe.
-No one on any other tribe really thinks much of Selena except for Dominic & AJ who love her.

My Perspective & Her Journey: Selena seems to be playing a very solid social game- and will be under the radar for a bit, but is that really what she should be doing? Season 1 she got by far because other people made moves that benefited her, and in Season 5 she got screwed because she was too relaxed. She's doing good in where she's aligned and showing she doesn't really trust anyone- but her story this season is if she breaks out of that "Selena" mode and really does make a move to better herself. If she does, I could see her winning the whole thing.

Week Two

Eduro right now is a clusterfuck, and I'm glad they're going to Judgment. It looks like this vote will be unanimous, but that's a true testament as to how a voting chart doesn't reflect how great a season is. Selena is by far holding the cards on Eduro, and absolutely none of them know it. I wish Luca would've gone over Perry, but hopefully Luca will just get voted out of Sausage and Starz and bring more to the table here. Ellen I still haven't made up my mind yet on, really.

Ellen
Week Two

Diary Room Summary
-Comments that they eliminated someone who could've been good at team challenges (foreshadowing jfc)
-Feels horrible that she's been accused of having an army in this game, and she feels painted in a corner.
-She realizes that Knox and Selena are the ones who could decide her fate.
-She wants to win the challenge really badly with her back so up against the wall. She hates that she's in the leadership position.
-Finds Perry to be inept, but one of the stronger members of the team. She can't seem to trust him enough to save him- but hope that Perry doesn't figure out that she's not the one who he should be campaigning to.

Observations
-Ellen right now seems to be under the delusion that she's got her back against the wall and that she's clawing to get by each round, when in reality she's untouchable and running the game. The lack of self-awareness is really weird and I think she's way too much of an emotional trainwreck right now. She's not like a Dawn or a Lisa or anything like that, but there's no way she's going to win I think unless she actually gets an underdog position- which I would love to see.

Hannah
Week Two

Diary Room Summary
-The dynamics of her tribe are convoluted and hard to even describe. She debates possibly keeping Perry around.
-Plans to convince Selena and Knox to vote out Luca the following round.
-Claims that she wants to play a very similar game to the one she played last time, but just "enhanced"- and this seems to be waiting to make a big move apparently.
-Sees Luca and Perry as her enemies since they voted her out in Season 4.
-Feels incredibly sad for Perry.

Observations
-Hannah seems to have no idea that she's 4th in the equation, and is pretty much the sole reason that Luca didn't go this round because she wants to play an "enhanced game" waiting for her enemies to strike. The old Hannah wouldn't have waited to throw a punch. She's altered her game for the worst.

Knox
Week Two

Diary Room Summary
-A video confessional <3
-Thinks its funny that he hasn't really done anything in challenges.
-Thinks he's well-trusted on his tribe. Finds himself close to Hannah.
-Comments on how it's common knowledge that Luca & Ellen are close.
-He's really upset that Emily is gone.
-Goes on rambling about how he doesn't trust Perry or something. I had a hard time paying attention with all of the side-detours.

Observations
Knox is unfortunately pretty delusional with the game he's playing. I really hope he realizes he's only safe right now because of Gloria and starts to buck and play his own game. I hope that the friendship between him and Hannah comes to fruition.

Luca
Week Two

Diary Room Summary
-After the challenge, all hell breaks loose.
-He doesn't need to take charge to save himself, because Ellen's there.
-"I can't help I cultivated better relationships than Perry did".
-Comments on how Perry is smart
-Ellen found the idol. AJ is jealous, etc.
-Brags about how he "got Dom to turn on Annie".

Observations
-Not really enjoying Luca this season. He seems to be sitting pretty right now and it'll be nice if he gets knocked down a peg. He's just going to be riding on Ellen's side and it's just a waiting game of if people will get him out to get to her.

Perry
Week Two

-Most of Perry's diary room this week is was just him scrambling to try to save himself. I really feel for him, and a lot of the points he was making are legitimate. I feel like he's going to be a symbol for the rest of the game in how, if you don't make a move, you're going to get screwed. We've got a lot of people sitting idly trying to play "under the radar", and someone's going to get the shaft. I liked his fighting spirit and what he brought to the game this time around.

Selena
Week Two

Diary Room Summary
-Hates that Annie and Michael tried to interfere with the first vote.
-Understands why Hannah and Knox wanted to change the vote from Perry to Emily
-She has reservations about voting out Perry because he could "be a great lapdog". She wants to go after Luca.
-She can't get Luca out because Hannah doesn't want to budge and make a move too early in the game.

Observations
-This is my favorite Selena by far. Not only is she lacking the sort of self-righteousness that most of the other people in the cast is, she seems fearless to do what's best for her and to make sure she's someone who's going to stick around. Right now, I want her to win…which is something I don't think I would've found myself saying 5 seasons ago.
