02: Asian Persuasion & Idol Invasion

Hello all! Long time, no update I know. Pretty tired right now, but I figured I'd pop in and post at least a little bit of an update. Currently trying to carry my tribe to another immunity win. No one really seems to be interested in helping, so it's basically whatever. If we go to Judgement, I'm positive I'll end up being safe with this lovely immunity necklace I'm going to win. I have well over 1,000 points and the person closest to me is Mark with 105. Talk about a close race, except not really...Regardless, I'm going to show just what kind of player I am and continue on with the challenge even though I know Legatu is very much ahead of me. It seems like they're such a well-oiled machine of activity and they're going to be very hard to take down. I don't think Eduro will ever be very much of a threat, honestly, but who knows. I know it's pretty much Ellen doing the work for Eduro, myself doing the Proelia work, and Legatu has their whole tribe in a sort of assembly line formation. I envy the tribal workforce over there. My tribe's probably too busy looking for idols. Psh.

Right now, my main allegiance still lies with Gloria, but I've connected very well with Ben and especially Mark over the last few days. I solidified my alliance with Mark today and I couldn't bbe more pleased about it. I'll have to come back later or tomorrow and type more up concerning this, but at this point I really need to get back to the challenge... Just wanted to give you guys a little bit of insight about what was going on with my game. I feel like I'm in a pretty good spot. I just wish my tribe cared. It seems I'm always the one to have to carry my tribe... Like, what the hell? Whatever. At least there's immunity for being the best this time.

Should we go to Judgement, which seems very like at this point, the vote will probably be between Michael or Annie. Michael is never around and when he is, he's just sassy and arrogant. Pretty much a cancer for the tribe if you ask me. He continually states that he loves challenges and can't wait to "carry us" yet it's always everyone else putting all the work in while he just goes offline. Annie however is completely useless in challenges. The reason we all fear her is because she's a very social player who seems to have connections everywhere. She's also extremely livid about Emily being the first boot, so I have no doubt she's going to be out for blood. In her mind, it's her team versus mine so I wouldn't be surprised if she tried to target me. (Which is why I really need this individual immunity win).

Back to posting though. I work in six hours though so I wonder how much longer I can stay up without dying tomorrow. Haha peace.

So the challenge results are up and damn we got stomped. I can't exactly say I'm shocked to see this seeing as I was really the only one going anything. I put a lot of heart into the challenge for a few hours, but then seeing the possibilities available in the case we went to Judgement, I really stopped trying and started idol hunting. I already had a clear lead and was obviously going to win immunity, so why not go to Judgement this round, right? In fact, I actually did something semi-devious with the challenge. I knew that I was going to crash eventually so I spent my time using up all the high-scoring letters for myself. So basically, when Michael or whoever tried to jump on after to overtake my score, they would be left with only one or two-point letters. It was hilarious, because sure enough a few hours after I stopped posting and Michael ~thought~ I was asleep, he hops on and starts using the Q to really rack up the points. So what did I decide to do? After he posted a layer, I jumped in and eliminated all of the high-scoring letters from his board and since there were no more to be used, there was no way I wasn't winning immunity. Devious, yes, but completely necessary. After he saw it, I'm sure he freaked out because he proceeded to message me on like three screen names and even text me asking me to delete my post so he could keep on using the Q. I pretended to be asleep. HA.

So all in all, I really didn't care about winning the competition.



As far as my tribe goes, I'm very happy with the direction we're going. I am currently part of a very powerful and seemingly-unbreakable foursome. This consists of Ben, Gloria, Mark, and I. My connection with Gloria began upon arriving in the game, and Ben was picked up shortly after. The real tricky part of securing this foursome was convincing Mark. Seeing how Mark played last season definitely made me want to work with him because he seems to value loyalty the same way I do. One thing that I discovered through random conversation is that Chase and Mark have a friendship outside of the game. Seeing as I'm close with Chase outside the game, I decided to utilize this friendship for a favor pertaining to the game. I basically asked him to put in a good word with Mark to possibly aid in him aligning with me. I had already connected with Mark through a very lengthy conversation earlier that day, so it's not like I was asking Chase to make something out of absolutely nothing. Chase was oddly enough very receptive to the idea and even asked to join us. So apparently I'm now aligned with Mark and Chase. *shrugs*

Anyway, back to this vote. This foursome of Gloria, Ben, Mark, and I honestly control this tribe right now. There are a lot of options we can take, but most of us personally want to take out Annie this round. As amazing as Annie is as a person and player, her presence in this game cannot go unnoticed. She’s pretty god-awful at challenges so there’s an advantage to voting her out right there. The thing that really stands out for us though is her connection to so many people in this game. She’s pretty much been making alliances for months and it’s so obvious. She is also teamed up with Michael on this tribe so that obviously needs to be split up as soon as possible. Another annoying thing is that last round, even though we were safe, she and Michael just decided to go out of their way to message the other tribe and campaign for Emily to stay. I was such a bad game move on their part because they both got exposed like immediately, but whatever. Annie even made a fortune cookie for Hannah saying “if you vote Emily out, you will be next” or something to that extent. They made their graves and now they have to lie in them. The worry with this plan is obviously the idol, so we are currently agreeing with their “genius plan” to vote Ben out of this game. In all actual reality, Annie is the probable boot for this round, following her buddy Emily right out the door. Sorry about this of course and nothing personal, but there’s just no way Annie will truly have my back in this game. Oh well.

So yeah, this should be an interesting round with some definite backlash after the votes are read. To add to the stress, I’ve been idol hunting so hard over the last few hours. Having the idol in my pocket would be more than ideal because all this stress about Michael having the idol would vanish and I could just play my game how I want to play it. Also, we have to “pair up” for the next challenge but I feel like a swap is coming so blah at that. Probably going to be two tribes of nine and definitely not ideal for my game seeing as I just secured this foursome and all. But here’s to a solid game so far and hopefully more amazingness to come! Back to idol hunting. BOO.



(But seriously, I was up until 4:30 am idol hunting, went to work at 7 am and I've been awake since. I'm about to crash but I need this idol first...)

MARK AND I FOUND THE IDOL! MARK AND I FOUND THE IDOL! OMG OMG OMG I AM BEYOND FUCKING EXCITED RIGHT NOW TO THE POINT OF SCREAMING!!!

We've been chatting for the last few hours over what it could be. Alone we couldn't conquer, but together our minds came up with the correct password and I honestly couldn't be happier! He is currently in possession of it, but he's assuring me that it's OUR idol. I know words only go so far when it comes to stuff like this, but I really trust that Mark will stay true to his word. And if not, leaving by an idol I helped find would be such a fucking tragic ending to my story arc in this game UGH. Being the snake that I am though, I decided to pass the idol clue news on to Ellen and Chase, my two allies on the other camps. I am currently idol-less, but the three people I'm closest with in the game are in possession of them. I am fucking ECSTATIC right now. Hopefully this is helpful towards keeping a target off me, although people will assume I have it anyway so whatever. Maybe that's a good thing though, because then they'll talk to Mark about blindsiding me, leading him to step in and idol me! So many possibilities right now and my mind can be at ease with the fact that I know Michael and Annie don't have the idol. Because of this, the Annie vote is no longer a blindside, it's a for sure thing and we're going to go and fill Michael and Wendy in about it. This is moreso to save our own asses so they don't feel betrayed and taken aback by a voting result they didn't expect. Going into the tribe swap (that we all see coming btw), it will be better to have them on good terms with us as opposed to pissy.

I just can't even type much right now because I'm in a Skype Call celebrating. GO ME. GO US. OMG!
