Well, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed. Of course I'm disappointed! I came so close! But I really accomplished what I wanted to in this game. I made it all the way to the final 4, which is so much further than I thought I would go. And I left the game having had fun and feeling like I played a good game. I won't go down as the best player in GvsE history, but I can say with confidence that I am one of the best with the best. And I ended feeling really good about how I played.
AJ backstabbed me, obviously. And it's a betrayal that is somewhat hard to swallow. I will not be voting for her to win. You can call that being bitter, but I also do not feel like she played the best game out of the three. So unless Thiago is a total disaster at the Final Judgement, he will be getting my vote. Am I surprised by AJ's actions? Yes and no. I'm sure she will call this "revenge for season 3" or something along those lines. That's comparing apples and oranges. The situations are completely different. But I won't go into those details. Will I try to clear the air with her when this game is over? Of course. But the game is still going on, I still have to make my jury speech, and I'm going to be straightforward with how I feel.
Many people have commented how this is an underwhelming final 3. That's typical All-Stars, though, and I'm not surprised. The fact of the matter is, they made it to that point. So we can't really call them undeserving. However, I know that the winner of this game will kind of be the figurehead of GvsE. So I'm forced to ask myself and the jury, "Who do we want to serve as that figurehead?" I just feel like Thiago is the best choice of the 3. My opinions may change during the Final Judgement portion, but I'm definitely 90% on voting Thiago at this point. We'll just have to see how it plays out!
Thank you so much, Justin. It was seriously an amazing opportunity, and I am so glad that I accepted the offer to return and play. You are an amazing host, and I will always support your ORGs!
