We did it! We pulled it off! Here we are, sitting in the final 5, overcoming so much as a team. Even if it was a Pagonging, it was a challenge nonetheless. No one was ever thinking about flipping because we all knew that it was a dumb move. So now it's time to fight it out. We're bringing out the big guns! It's been in talks for a while now that Thiago, AJ, and I would be making a final 3 pact. I'm so back and forth about how I feel about that. Thiago has been somehow placing himself in a power position round after round. He's positioned himself in the middle of two pairs, [myself and Aj] and [Henry and Knox]. He knows he will be the one controlling the vote this round. But he also knows going to the end with Henry is like a nail in the coffin.
I'm definitely set on targeting Henry this round. That has been my intention for a long time now. He is the obvious jury favorite, and he has been playing an almost impeccable game. So it makes him the biggest target. Going to the end with him is just asking to be creamed in the final vote, which is why it surprises me that Knox is teaming up so closely with him. I mean Knox should see the jury threat that Henry is. So why is Knox so set on going to the end with him? I mean it was clear by Knox's judgement answer last round that he believes that he is playing a good game. And I mean I guess he has been. He's been kissing some jury butt each time someone has been eliminated, and he's been trying his best not to ruffle any feathers. But I wouldn't say he is playing an amazing game. I think Thiago is playing better than Knox, which is why I wanted AJ and Knox next to me in the finals. However, Thiago seems so hated by the jury. Will that jury hatred be enough to override the strategic decisions that he has made over the course of the game? Will it be enough to make the jury forget how Thiago pulled himself out of a "first boot" scenario to a position in the final 3? I'm not sure, and it is almost impossible to predict. The only thing I know for certain is that Henry is probably the jury favorite at this point. So voting him out and keeping myself and AJ in the game at the final 4, seems like the best option at this point.
Henry's plan of attack at this point seems to be to vote AJ off next, followed by Thiago. I had predicted this based on information that I had heard over the last few days, but Henry officially revealed this to me last night. He had a long conversation with me on his thoughts of the game, and I played into his hand as much as possible to try to get him to reveal his cards to me. Hearing that he wants me in the final 3 pretty much solidifies Thiago's vote with AJ and I this round. I just don't like how Thiago is setting it up so he has arguments in the final tribal council....like giving AJ his idol last round. That was unnecessary. I mean he will say he used that as a bargaining chip to solidify this final 3 deal, but I had solidified it a few rounds ago. He showed me that screenshot of Knox and told me not to show AJ quite yet. Of course I showed her right away last round so that she would be strategically ready to handle this round. So he is doing some out-of-the-box thinking, but I don't think his moves are really necessary at this point. I also think he is purposely pissing off jury members to look like a good candidate to take to the end.
So I don't know at this point. I don't know what will happen at the final 4. But what I do know is that Henry needs to go. Henry being voted out pretty much solidifies my spot in the final 3. So hopefully Thiago isn't going WAY out of his way to lie to AJ and me, and he votes with us. I hate that he will be the swing vote this round. But I think he knows that going to the end with Henry is a death wish.
