~ Week #2 ~

Last week was an absolutely hot mess and disaster. To begin with we had outside forces, Annie and Michael, trying to sway the balance of our decision. I'm absolutely livid that they would make their blatant support of Emily obvious. Part of her downfall is because of them, but perhaps that is truly what they wanted. Then came the fact that as a tribe we couldn't even agree on who to vote out until late last night even though it was a blatantly obvious vote (between Knox or Emily). Since it became a whole complex mess I'm starting to question the dynamics and relationships of my tribe. Literally the vote went from all Emily to Perry to Luca then back to Emily. First off, I find it quite ironic that both Hannah and Knox had the same change of heart to vote out Emily and instead wanted to vote out Perry. I kind of get why Hannah wanted to vote out Perry because it would serve as retribution for her since he betrayed her in season 4. The only reason I can deduce as to why Knox wanted him out was because Hannah said so. Then yesterday Perry approached me wanted to form an alliance with himself, Knox, and Emily. I was blown away considering this is like my second full on conversation with him. His target was going to be Luca or Hannah because they are both strong players. I don't disagree that Luca is a really strong player and may have friends on others tribes BUT we need to win Immunity challenges not lose them for now. Anyways, I went ahead with the whole alliance plan, but I eventually spilled the beans to Ellen and Hannah. For now I want to show them that I am willing to be loyal to them (for the time being). Plus later on I told Knox that Perry was talking about wanting to vote him out next so Knox is really adamant that Perry go.

~ Week #2 - III ~

Unfortunately I have been absolutely worthless during this Immunity challenge because I've had other personal stuff to attend to. However, last night and this afternoon I have repeatedly asked Ellen if she or anyone else needed help. They assured me that I was fine and there was nothing to worry about. Only reason I continue to ask is because at tribal, which I know we are going to, I don't want to be blamed for not helping at all. I put an effort forward albeit a weak one, but it was better than doing absolutely nothing.

Additionally, since I believe we are going to tribal I have already started scouting out what the possible vote could be. I know last week myself, Hannah, and Ellen promised Knox that we would vote out Perry. However, I have reservations voting him out this early because he could act as a perfect lapdog. So instead my true target this week is Luca. Luca is by far one of the best people on our tribe and the game so if we don't get rid of him now we could be in huge trouble later down the road. Trying to get him out is going to take every ounce of negotiations because I believe deep down that he has a lot of connections on this tribe. As of right now even though it is extremely early the vote breakdown could look something like this; Myself - Leaning Luca, Perry - Luca, Hannah - Leaning Perry/Can negotiate with, Luca - Perry, Knox - Perry, & Ellen - Perry/Can possibly negotiate with. That could possibly lead to a tie with 3 votes Luca and 3 votes Perry.

~ Week #2 - IV ~

I really hate not getting what I want and in this case it would be Luca leaving. If I knew that the votes were there then I would pursue it, but they just aren't. I've kind of tried to bring Ellen around to the idea, but she still doesn't trust Perry at all. Apparently, Hannah told her that Perry wanted either her or Luca gone last round which is simply not the case. Also, while I don't necessarily think he is always telling the truth I just think that it's going to spell trouble if we keep a big threat like Luca around in the game for much longer! I feel like people already made up their minds last round when we had to promise to vote Perry out. Its really conflicting me because on one hand if Knox thinks he's telling me what to do he's got another thing coming. If I don't do as he says then my only conundrum is that if I do keep pushing for Luca then I risk straining not only my relationship with Ellen and Hannah, but they could turn on me. I don't want to be gone this early in the game so I don't feel like sticking my neck out for someone that is most likely not going to stick with me in the long run. Ugh, just so many dynamics going on at once! I suppose there's only one good outcome of keeping Luca which is that I am able to keep my enemy closer to me. The minute he screws up it may give me more leverage to dispose of him. That's only a little food for thought.

Funny thing is that he is completely oblivious that he is going to be the one voted off. While I do like him part of me wants to tell him he is gonzo, but I don't want to open my mouth so that he goes around telling people I told him he was gone. I don't need a repeat like last year. As for his request for me to contact her? I pretty much am not even going to bother. Sorry Perry you shouldn't have trusted me, but look on the bright side I really did like you!

Note: Justin if you get a lot of conversations and confessionals about me and how I act clueless from other contestants it's pretty much an act. My classic "I didn't know Luca won his season?!" is one of my favorites. Although, I was a pretty crappy Prediction Writer so it's almost as believable to be honest. Just so they know for future reference: I know a lot more than I lead on to.
