Well, Dominic approached me with an interesting offer. He basically was assuring that he would take AJ and I to the final 3 if we would flip. I mean that is a huge deal. However, I don't know if I can trust that Dominic would be loyal to it, especially by choosing us over Ben in the end. And, he's doing this all to save Ben. There are some strategic advantages to taking this over. For instance, next round, Dominic could win immunity and then Thiago and Knox could play idols. That could be bad for me. Especially since I don't think Knox would vote against Henry. Or, even worse, Knox could give his idol to Henry. So it would be a sticky situation.
However, Dominic is unbeatable in the end. Of course, I could just not honor a final 3 deal with him, but I still think it would hinder me a little in the long run. I called AJ to talk about it, and she didn't really seem into it. I'm sure if I said it was something I definitely wanted to do, she would go along with it. But it is hard for me to turn against an alliance that I have come to trust for several weeks to save Ben, who has only talked to me once in this entire game. But it could definitely end in my demise next round.
Thiago told me that he would give me his idol next round if Dominic wins immunity. That would be great, if he is being honest. He could be saying that to solidify my vote this round. I'm not sure. I think Thiago is being genuine, because he has to know that no one can beat Henry in the finals. So maybe Thiago really does want me in the final 3. But giving me his idol would be risky. Would he really be willing to take that risk for me? Because if Knox did the same thing for Henry, it could end badly! But we will have to see. I mean that is planning way ahead. The fact of the matter is, I just don't think I can flip this round. I don't want to break the trust I have with Knox, Thiago, and Henry. Sure, I'm worried that the three guys have some sort of deal. But it would be foolish for anyone to go to the end with Henry at this point, and people have to be able to see that. So I don't know. I really don't.
So I'm going to vote for Ben. It could be a bad decision for me, but loyalty runs deep right now. I'm glad that I was the one approached as kind of the "swing vote" this round. I'd rather people be trying to persuade me than someone else. I think my conversation with Ellen last round is what caused Dominic to want to approach me this round. Thiago could be playing every one right now and just manipulating me to feel comfortable so I don't flip. He could just be defending his final 3 guy alliance. However, that would be foolish in my opinion. Like I said, Henry would beat him like 9-0, and he'd be lying to AJ and I and completely losing our jury votes for sure.
Either way, this next immunity challenge is gonna be crucial. Congratulations, Dominic, you've made it this far for being a challenge whore! Yay!
