The sun is shining outside today, and things seem to be sunny for me in the game as well.
Selena went home. I don't have to draw a rock. Obviously it's a relief to make it to the Top 9 of this game. Phew!

I'm torn about how hard I want to work on this challenge. On one hand, I feel like I'm not totally seen as a threat, yet. I feel blessed to be seen at least somewhat MOR. Final 9 still might be a little early to go into beast mode. That being said, I get nervous during odd-numbered judgements, and knowing I"ll be into the FInal 8 safely could be pretty great.

My dilemma of whether or not to do well in the challenge was decided for me when I attempted to keep posting while drunk. I mean, I was with my friends but I knew I had 20 chops and I didn't want them to go to waste. Despite losing, I'm really proud of myself for coming in first place for part one. This'll be a great line to look back on when I'm voted out in this round, but I think I showed by doing well in Part 1 that I'm a perceptive player and that I feel very able to view how the people around me are being seen. I've always considered myself an observer, and so I wasn't shocked that I did well on this comp, despite failing on Part 2.

Lapras has taken over Ben's personality! Ok, so in the grand scheme of things this isn't a big deal, but I called out Wendy and others for this in season 2 and so I have to do it to Ben. Ben, I love Lapras, we all love Lapras, but you've fallen into a common trap in alias games, you've gotten stuck in a character choice. When all your posts have to have a "theme" for the rest of the game, I start to lose my ability to view you as a "real" person who's complex and dynamic. This one-note approach will not win over a jury. I fear we're watching Ben's chances at winning float out to sea.

Since this is really the first TC that I've had to do questions for, I can talk about a pet peeve of mine, shitty TC answers. I know there are ppl viewing this game and providing an answer that has SOME substance to it isn't that hard. I never reveal anything in my answers, but I also try to never make it shorter than two sentences.
It's all for you, folks #Pandering

It was definitely flattering to see my tribemates put me down for most of the positive categories, and I think I was one of the only people not to get put in the shitty or devious categories. As long as no one else pays attention to my categories, I'm pleased with that. Thanks, y'all!
I DO hope some people see it (ie. Dominic) and it makes them emotional. If they feel like these people that they know so well voted them some of these things, then maybe it'll encourage them to vote for someone who's not me. I'm still highly concerned that I am going to get 4 votes this judgement.

AJ wants Ellen out, while Thaigo wants Ellen here. Thaigo theorizes that, since AJ and Ellen are the excuses for these alliances forming, removing one from the game could potentially disrupt these rigid alliances that are currently keeping Thaigo and I here. These season 3 alliances are so complex, keeping things rigid and tight (giggity) is what's in my best interest.

Dominic is someone who I came into the game liking, respecting, and enjoying, but he's grown to be incredibly exhausting. He came to me today to yell at me because he felt like I was ignoring him. Part of my suspects that this is more gameplay than actual hurt feelings, but regardless it wears on ones patience after awhile. If I go to the jury, Dom would, at this point, have a very hard time getting my vote to win. I don't like people who constantly feel like they have to play the victim card. I'm sure Dom is very nice outside of the game

Ben and I had a really good chat early this morning, when only we were on. When someone begins to talk about something personal to me, it truly isn't about the game. I want them to know that they can talk to me and that I'll value what they're saying and be a confidential ear. Does it benefit me in the game, ummm yes, prolly. "Team Ellen" can vote for whoever they want to vote for, but if they honestly do enjoy having me here, I feel like that helps, even the slightest bit, in reducing the odds that I'll be their first target. So yeah, I do think that if I allow Ben to open up to me in a personal way it'll help me in the game, but it's not why I do it. I just feel good when I talk to someone and I know they feel better about themselves when they leave the conversation... and I hope that I accomplished that with Ben in this late night/early morning chat.

Last night, Ben told me he wasn't going to be voting for me, but he couldn't promise what the others are going to be doing. This makes me feel a little bit better about the vote reveal, but I'm going to remain nervous.
This statement from Ben caused me to realize, they actually might split their votes. If "Team Ellen" doesn't have the second idol, then they might be nervous that we have it. I could see them dumping their 4th vote on someone random in case there is a double-idol save. How craazy would that be, to go home on one vote???
