Hi everyone!
I'm really excited to be back playing in this series!
Normally, I would do a pre-game post where I talk about my strategy for the game and all that, but since I just got back from Vegas right before the challenge, I guess I'll just combine it into here.
My main goal is to be more self-aware this game. I tend to get cocky with my position in the game and it rubs people the wrong way. Whoops.
I think that I am in a great spot right now within my own tribe, so I will have to figure out what I should do from this point.
Anyways, let's talk about this tribe.
Legolas
AJ - AJ puts me into a weird spot. I love her to death, but I feel like we might be seen as a pair. I don't like having a partner, especially a partner that would get kept over me. She is super likable and not that great in challenges. I think that for now, I have to work with her, but I will have to be very careful to not get screwed by being attached to her.
Cassie - So, I guess that Cassie is nervous about me. She thinks that I am bitter about last time. I guess that is understandable, but seriously? I'm not one to hold grudges. Now, the fact that I know she isn't quite comfortable with me makes me nervous. I know she didn't really like Dom last time, and that ended up screwing Dom over. Hopefully that doesn't turn into my fate. I'm thinking she could be an easy first boot from this tribe, but I also know she is close with Colleen, so I dunno...
Colleen - I love Colleen. I feel like she could be a great partner for me this game. We get along well, and people wouldn't expect it as much as they would suspect AJ and me. I know she is close with Cassie though, so that could do some damage to my position in the game.
Henry - I hadn't talked to Henry until the other night. We have some mutual friends though, so I'm hoping to play that up a bit and potentially work with him. The only drawback to Henry is that Mark doesn't like him, and I would REALLY like to work with Mark down the road.
Quincy - I don't have a lot to say about him yet. We talked for a bit today, but I don't have any exceptional thoughts on him. I didn't think much of him when he played last time either :/
Thiago - Thiago is a pretty loyal player and decent in challenges. This could definitely be good for me, but I dunno still. I know that Mark doesn't really want to work with Thiago this time around, so I'm not quite sure how I will handle him.
So right now, I think that I am in a great spot. I've been making inroads with everyone and have a couple good allies. I also think that I am seen as kind of a free agent this game. I've got a number of people that want to work with me, and I can use these relationships to my advantage. The people that have said they would like to work with me are AJ, Dominic, Mark, Ben, and Knox. I'd be happy with most of these options, although Dominic does make me nervous.
